Jak jsme Vás již radostně informovali, k 1. 6. 2011 podalo Be International v programu Mládež v akci žádost o grant na podporu dvou projektů rozvíjejících dobrovolnictví a zodpovědný přístup k veřejnému životu u mladých lidí v okrajových regionech Gruzie. Projekt “Volunteering for Peaceful Future” byl podpořen částkou 23 102 eur!

Projekt je součástí velké kavkazské iniciativy Be International Voice of Georgia. Jednu aktivitu Voice of Georgia tvoří výměny a školení mládeže. Zástupci Be International se přes léto několikrát setkali s gruzínskými organizátory a dohodli nejlepší podmínky pro organizování projektu – původní přímořská lokalita Kobuleti byla upozaděna a přednost byla dána horskému regionu Bakuriani. Datum projektu bylo stanoveno na 5. 11. až 11. 11. 2011. Projekt je prvním projektem Be International, který je organizován a financován přímo z našeho grantu Mládeže v akci. Držte nám palce!

Krátká anotace v AJ ke schválenému projektu, jehož realizace ve splupráci s tbiliskou organizací International Center for Peace and Integration brzy započne, k nahlédnutí zde:

International youth exchange – “Volunteering for Peaceful future” takes place in one of the most popular sea resort of Georgia. The project will last during 7 days (including arrival and departure). It will bring together 40 young people from 8 countries, from EU and EECA: Latvia, Georgia, Poland, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Moldova, Lithuania and Russia.
The themes of the project are: developing ideas of peace, learning to use voluntary for peace-building process, learning to avoid the conflicts by using the methods of non violence communication, dialogue among young people from different countries with different backgrounds, promoting solidarity and tolerance without any discrimination by working together in international groups, stimulate a positive understanding of diversities, and developing awareness against of xenophobia. During the YE accent will be made on different levels of conflicts: conflict between individuals, between opposite sides within the society and conflicts between countries.
The learning methods of project will be through non-formal and in-formal education. To achieve the principal goals of YE we’ll use different activities, such as: group discussion/presentations, special-cases, intercultural evenings, team-building activities, role-plays, flash-mobs, peaceful demonstration involving local communities and other creative activities initiated by youngsters.
